Chrysalis

Chrysalis is a 3 day long exhibit co curated by Kendra Gourgue and Gabrielle Narcisse, at Canada Gallery. This group show of 14 Black femme and nonbinary artists bring together a series of works that call to the power of emergence, self-actualizing, and the healing necessary to emerge from one's cocoon.

Opening night ceremony which included a live DJ set.

Closing Ceremony organized by Kendra Gourgue, including 9 Black and Queer organizations and individuals of different crafts; The Free Black Women's Library, 100 red roses handed out by Verdure Florists, guided meditation by TajtheTower, perfume samples handed out by Yas Apothecary, Dj set by Geneva Love, tattoos by PokedbyClo, live typewritten poetry by Nunyala, and tooth gems by Hadiya.
